Idigbo hardwood front door and frame with a glazed, leaded light

We were contacted by a customer in Dorset who was in need of a new wooden front door. We designed and crafted an Idigbo hardwood door and frame with an Iroko wood cill. The door was fitted with a Kirkpatrick's black antique malleable iron lever handle and a 12" x 3" iron fleurs de lys letterplate.

We sprayed finished the door and frame with Sikkens micro-porous wood stain in a walnut finish. The door also featured a small window, 200mm wide x 260mm high, which was also leaded and had stained glass details.
