Our workshop is fully equipped with an extensive range of high-quality professional woodworking machinery. Some of these machines, crafted by British companies in the mid-20th century from heavy solid castings, have stood the test of time, proving their durability and reliability over decades of continuous use.
We recently enhanced our capabilities by purchasing a refurbished 1980 Robinson chain and chisel morticer, replacing the old machine we had since 1950. The upgrade was too exceptional to pass up, adding even more precision to our work while preserving the integrity of traditional craftsmanship.
Most of our joiners are trained to use all of our machines, enabling them to make a wide variety of work right through from start to finish – which provides them with greater job satisfaction and increases their skill level.
In our dedication to providing the highest standards of bespoke joinery in Devon, all our machines are equipped with the necessary dust extraction systems and comply with the latest health and safety regulations. Each machine is carefully guarded and braked to ensure the safety of our team, while maintaining a clean and efficient working environment.
